The purpose of an Account Manager is to lead the running of a client account and be the main point of contact for that client. Working closely with Strategic Consultants, you will develop the strategy for an account and work with Account Executives to execute on the strategy.
You will also act as a mentor for the junior members of your account team, offering a point of contact in case they have any questions, challenges or need general support from a more senior professional. This is a chance to use the skills, experience and expertise that you have gained in your career to help clients who are most in need of them, but also help volunteers learn through practical experience.
Responsiblities:
Act as the main point of contact to a specified client
Devise a strategy for a client account with a Strategic Consultant
Work closely with a team of Account Executives to ensure that work is completed on time and to a professional quality
Mentor the Account Executvies to ensure it is they who are completing the work and learning through practical exeperience
Communicate any issues to the Volunteer Coordinator and Management Group where appropriate
The Individual:
A PR professional with at least 3 year’s industry exeperience
At least 6 months experience of managing colleagues
Commitment to Bright One’s vision and mission
Commitment to equality and diversity
Good grasp of the English language, especially writing skills including spelling and grammar
Ability to work closely with a range of volunteers
