Together we can rid the world of bad pants!

We are very excited to have joined forces with Pants to Poverty, a campaign aiming to rid the world of bad pants. Pants to Poverty are a whole new type of underwear brand that began as part of Make Poverty History in 2005. Maker of fair-trade and organic cotton pants for both men and women, they make great pants and sell them across 15 countries whilst working with thousands of farmers in India! Pants to Poverty is planning to stage the first Global Pants Amnesty across 16 countries on Tuesday 7th July.

What’s wrong with bad pants? Well for too long now bad pants have menaced our brothers and sisters around the world. One pair of non-organic cotton pants will have used 10ml of pesticides, enough to kill a person if directly exposed. According to the World Health Organisation 20,000 people die every year from pesticide poisoning in developing countries. Millions more suffer from acute poisoning with side effects including cancer, birth defects, respiratory problems and sterility. These abominable pants destroy our environment and push millions into poverty and despair.

Now, the time has come to finally rid the world of bad pants! Sign up and protect yourself and our growing community of pant lovers. We have the means and the will. But that is nothing without you!

SO, JOIN THE PANTS AMNESTY!
