Mel started her career in consumer PR working for BBC Worldwide in its PR office for the publishing department arranging events and working on campaigns including Planet Earth and Doctor Who. Mel however realised that her true PR passion lied in corporate and financial services PR so she moved to HBOS and worked in internal communications for a while. Mel has spent the last two and a half years at Broadgate Mainland, a financial services PR agency based in the City of London working across clients from asset management, mortgage and pension backgrounds.
Outside of the office Mel is studying for the Investment Management Certificate and any free time is spent catching up with friends, being a bookworm and taking part in pilates.
