Irina Stanescu

A graduate in Communication Studies from Bucharest, Romania, Irina has been involved in both not-for-profit PR as a student volunteer for a psychotherapy Foundation and in commercial communication campaigns for clients such as Renault and Pepsi as a Junior PR at Pleon.

Last year she decided to take the extra-mile and studied at Bournemouth University. She graduated with a distinction in her Public Relations MA (ok, she’s a bit of a geek).

As a student at Bournemouth Uni, Irina found out about Bright One and considered it as the place to meet her two all-time favourites: PR and charity work. She joined Bright One as an Account Executive in March 2009 and helped in making Refugee Week the talk of the bloggersphere.

When she’s not building reputations, Irina enjoys training dogs and eating Belgian pralines.
