Since graduating in 2007, Faizel worked as an Assistant Press Officer for six months at Transport for London (internship).
After sending his CV to the Guardian, he was featured in the Graduate section following a mock interview with a director at JCPR. He was then called back for a real interview and joined JCPR/Edelman soon after, working on the Shell, Starbucks, British Council and BSM accounts. He also worked with Arzu, a non-for-profit organisation helping Afghan women earn a fair price for the rugs they weave, securing some great coverage including a five-page spread.
Faizel has just moved back home to Preston and is looking for his next role in PR in the North West. He’s recently started a blog about PR and the media and loves tweeting.
His first account on the Bright One team was Thanksto.com.
Bright One is exceptional in helping not-for-profits communicate what they do and what they are all about. They come highly recommended and we hope they continue to grow!
